Several reasons why people buy A70 burner:
1. Very low operating costs. The unit is highly efficient and can burn down even the cheapest pellets available on the market. Green pellets can be currently bought at CZK 1 400-2000/t. Then the total annual costs of heating a middle-size family house do not exceed CZK 15 000. The most advantageous operating costs can be achieved by a farmer burning pellets made of his own straw.
2. Fully automatic operation. The unit is started up by a common thermostat. Supply of fuel and about once a week the removal of ashes is required.
3. The unit is classified in the top ecological category with almost zero CO emissions.
4. Relatively low initial costs of the unit. The unit has a fair price-performance ratio. Providing it is operated at the full use of 50 - 60 kW output, the
acquisition costs return as early as the second season.
Example:
a) The unit replaces an older coal-burning boiler. The efficiency of such boiler is usually 30 – 50 %. After the replacement the heating costs usually drop by one half.
b) If the unit replaces a natural gas burning boiler, the heating costs are four times lower and the burner produces ten times lower amount of NOx gases.
c) If the unit replaces an electric boiler working at the full enterprise tariff (e. g., a boarding house), then the heating costs savings can be even ten times lower.
d) A large range of outputs.
5. The burner works at full efficiency from 13 to 70 kW. It can heat both a smaller family house and a smaller school. The burner is a resilient source. Provided the dissipated power of a building is calculated, say, at 50 kW, then it is sufficient to set the burner appropriately. As a rule, the burner can be set at 30 kW.
